So this is the illustration I did for the top part of my sister’s square wedding invites. She is a pretty pretty princess mermaid, and her husband is a sailor so in love that he’s wearing an old time-y diver’s helmet in order to be with her. Commence the “d’wah-ing”.Cute and fun, if all wedding invites were like this I’d probably be up for doing commissions. I think the reaction to the non-traditional invite so far is mostly favorable, and she loves them so that’s what matters most.

Just some old vectors I did, tweaked a bit for sticker design. If you were familiar with them before this you probably won’t really notice a difference, but I just fixed some stuff that was irking me.

I really do like the “Sprite” style I was using then, I should probably try to do a couple more like this, but consistent with the quality of work I’ve been doing.

Not to sound creepy but I really like watching her swim. And now I want to draw more mermaids.

This was very fun for me because it combines my love of jellyfish and red hair. :] It’s not supposed to be Ariel, just a redhead with green eyes who happens to be cool with existing with jellies in her hair.
